I Did It!

The last few days have molded together into one giant blob. But the most exciting news is that I officially graduated from Texas A&M on Saturday and celebrated my 23rd birthday on Sunday!

Thursday evening at 10pm grades were officially available for graduating students to see. And I made a 4.0! I finally achieved a long term goal that I set for myself during my freshman year and I couldn't be happier! Also on Thursday night I had a party, and while almost 40 people had RSVP-ed, only 10-12 actually showed up. So I have a ton of beer and about 100 jello shots leftover, and I still don't know what exactly to do with them.

Friday was an extremely long day, I got my nails done and ran other errands that needed to be done before my parents arrived. Dad came in early in the afternoon, and we went to BJ's Brewhouse for dinner and a little bit of birthday celebration. My mom arrived a few hours after dinner, and by that time I was already exhausted. I made a quick trip to see her and help her get things situated before Saturday morning.

Saturday was nuts. I woke up, fixed my hair, got myself pulled together, and headed to see family and eat lunch at the house my mom had rented for the weekend. Lunch was rushed, and of course my family was running late so I had to leave without them. I felt so anxious waiting downstairs while I saw several of my friends and we all chatted until it was time to walk out into the arena and get ready to graduate! I don't remember much of the ceremony because it all happened so fast, and I barely remember walking across the stage, but I definitely remember hearing my family scream at the top of their lungs for me! Afterwards, everyone went back to the rent house for dinner, cake, and opening gifts! All of my family left either Saturday night or Sunday after lunch. I was definitely bummed that everyone had to leave and that my birthday was overlooked by graduation. But it was still a good weekend. Sunday night a few of my friends & Mary took me out to Olive Garden for a birthday dinner and I had a great time. Since then, I've been working at Hotard full-time and it's been very quiet!

Now for the pictures!!

Immediately after receiving my diploma! Most of the pictures of me walking across the stage are extremely blurry, and I think this is the best one!

Andrew & I immediately after graduating. Such a good picture of us!
A few of my cousins! Lindsey, my sister Megan, Ross, me, and Elizabeth
Pretty much the best looking family around :)

Exaggerated sorority pose!

My family! We were missing about 12-15 family members :(

So thrilled that the Tuckers' could make it for my graduation (minus Alissa)
My 2nd mom (Mary) & her hubby, Richard. So thankful that they could make it for my graduation!
This is one of my best friends, Libby. We have known each other for about 20 years. Even though we don't keep up with each other as much as we should, we never miss a beat! I think this picture describes our relationship perfectly!

And congrats to all the other graduates :) I'm so proud of everyone for making it this far!
